More Changes in Callings
As the Primary fills it's open positions and Relief Society makes a few changes too, there will continue to be sisters released and taking new positions in the ward. What a blessing to have a shake-up like this! We are so grateful for every one's efforts and the growth that occurs, individually and as a ward, as we take on new responsibilities and get to know someone new because we now have new people we are exposed to and work with.
To all you sisters who served in Primary and Young Women's, I hope you feel welcome in Relief Society and know that you have always been a part of us, even though you did not attend the Sunday lessons. And to those who are now in Young Women's and Primary . . . every sister over 18 is part of Relief Society. The Sunday lessons are just a small part of that. We also have weekday activities and Visiting Teaching. I encourage you to participate in those. It will help you feel connected. That's what they are there for.
The Lord loves you and will bless you for your efforts to serve one another.

Provident Living (June 9-15th)
Money Saving Tip:
Take the health challenge and save money on doctor visits. Do these things daily:
1. Exercise 30 minutes (except sunday)
2. Drink 48 oz of water
3. 7 hrs sleep (does not have to be continuous)
4. No sweets
5. No fried or fast food
6. 15 minutes of scripture study
7. Sincere appreciation for spouse or loved one
8. No eating after 8 p.m.
9. 2 servings of fruit
10. 2 servings of vegetables

More Ties... for Cambodians
YW TIE DRIVEThe YW are doing a Tie drive, donate any ties your hubby doesn't use, and Kali Hoenes is going to take them to Cambodia with her in 3 weeks. Her dad hands them out like crazy and you would be surprised about how a tie can change the perspective of an investigator or an inactive member of the church. Ties for Sharing Time
Dear Ward Members,
I am looking for families that might be willing to part with some old ties. I would like to use them in the singing time on June 13th. You will not be getting these ties back in any useable condidtion. If you have an extra tie or two lying around that you don't want cluttering up your house please donate it to primary singing time. SERVICE
Dear Sisters, thank you, thank you, thank you for all you do!
There are so many opportunities all around us to serve one another, whether it comes in the form of an official calling, on a sign-up sheet, or something you just do. Thank you for all you do!
We sadly say goodbye to Christa Jensen as the Counselor over all our extra mid-week activities, and Brita Addington as a Sunday Teacher, and wish them well in their new callings. We will miss them! Their service has been a blessing to all who have participated in the things they have been involved in. We thank all who have served in the Young Women and Primary as well, and look forward to new opportunities with new the leaders.
There are a lot of babies comming in the near future and several girls with complications, and some having other challenges. Thank you for your service in the past, now and what you will do in the near future to bless the lives of each other in child-care, cleaning, meals, and all the other things you do to support one another.
Thank you for befriending "the new girl" as she moves in and gets settled. Most of us have been there and know what that feels like. Thank you for expanding your circle of friends to include someone else. Thanks for all the little things you do that make someone else feel loved and cared for. We all need to feel loved and needed!
This is the grass-roots of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This is keeping Baptismal Covenants. This is being "His hands".
