Ward Directory Updating
The Activities Committee is currently working on updating the ward directory. PLEASE, PLEASE send an up-to-date picture of your household and current phone, address, emails, and birthdays. (Go to the ward website to check your family information.)

When your drain is clogged with grease...pour a cup of salt and a cup of baking soda into the drain followed by a pan or boiling water. The grease will usually dissolve immediately and open the drain. To freshen a garbage disposal, run orange or lemon rinds through it.

Nasal congestion relief--try chewing on a couple of curiously strong Altoid peppermits. They'll clear up your stuffed nose.
Overnight cough relief--try Vicks vapor rub on your feet and wear a pair of socks. It's weird to wear socks to bed but a night without coughing so you can sleep is far more rewarding.

Money Saving Tip:
Laundry stain remover--1/2 cup ammonia, 1/2 cup white vinegar, 2 Tbsp liquid soap or soft soap, 2 quarts water. Mix ingredients and shake well. Pour a portion into a pump-type spray container and store the rest in a clean gallon size jug. Label and keep out of the reach of children.
